Paradise Point is all about reconnecting with nature in a serene environment. The private retreat is located on a secluded part of Smith Lake, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy the pristine water with a morning kayak or paddleboard excursion, or just sit on the swim dock enjoying a cup of coffee. This is our family home, and we are sure you will enjoy it just as much as we do!

'I could write a VERY long review about this house, the location, the amenities, the hosts....ALL of it was amazing! The home sits on the point of a very quiet section of smith lake- we saw an average of one boat per day passing by. The road that leads to the house is about two miles of gravel, but very well maintained for pretty much any vehicle, and more of the "off the beaten path" we were going for. Our kids (ages 11-17) had so much fun on the kayaks and paddle board even though the water was chilly! We also spent a lot of time playing corn hole, working on puzzles and playing some new games (all provided at the home).
The home itself is truly beautiful- hardwoods throughout, very clean, the rooms and layout were perfect for us...and again very clean and beautiful. The furniture felt new, the kitchen had everything we could have needed (we often rent places that don't supply enough dishes, silverware etc....that was not the case here!). The coffee bar was a really fun treat and did have everything we would need. We made one trip at the beginning of the week to the grocery store about 20 minutes away, and didn't leave the house after that. Normally we are looking for excursions on every vacation we go on, but for us and our kids, we never got bored the five days we spent here.
Outside we also enjoyed evenings around the fire pit, we hung out in the shaded separated patio/ fireplace just relaxing and enjoying the view.
I could keep going - it was exactly what our family needed.
Oh! We also had a few things that came up both in the registration process and while at the house and Alex/Summer were very quick to respond and give us info we needed or help....thank you for the opportunity to stay at your home!'
☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
The home is outfitted with four large bedrooms, making it easy for your group to spread out and get some private time when necessary.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a TV, and a private bathroom.
The second and third bedrooms are both outfitted with queen-size beds, TVs, and a Jack & Jill style bathroom situated between the rooms.
The fourth bedroom is great for any kiddos in your group and features four custom-built twin-size bunk beds and two TVs.
☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆
There are three bathrooms located throughout the home, so there’s no need to worry about waiting your turn when duty calls.
The private bathroom in the master bedroom is equipped with handrails, a wheelchair-accessible roll-in shower, toilet and dual sinks.
The Jack & Jill style bathroom features a shower/tub combo, toilet and dual sinks.
There is an additional bathroom located off the main living area with a toilet and shower/tub combo.
We supply a starter pack of bathroom essentials including toilet paper, basic toiletries, make-up remover wipes, trash bags, and towels for your convenience. We kindly ask that you bring your own lake towels and leave the ones we provide inside at all times.
☆☆ KITCHEN ☆☆
The full kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook up tasty meals, including cooking basics, dishes and silverware, pots and pans, and spices. We also have BBQ tools if you feel like grilling.
Morning coffee is made easy with our coffee bar that includes creamers, sugar, and four different types of beans. We also provide a s’mores kit for your group.
When it comes time to eat, you can enjoy your meals at the bar (seating for three), the dining room table (seating for eight), or head outside to the additional dining area (seating for six to eight).
☆☆ LIVING ROOM ☆☆
The living room is the perfect place to kick back and relax with a book or enjoy a family movie night. It features two large sofas, two chairs, and a flatscreen TV equipped with Direct TV access. The open-concept living room is located right across from the kitchen, making it easy to socialize between the two rooms.
☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACES ☆☆
The outdoor spaces are one of the main draws of Paradise Point. Enjoy stunning views of the lake from multiple areas, including the expansive porch, the two outdoor fire pits, the fireplace, and the private dock.
Feel free to use the dock, including our two kayaks, 2 paddleboards, and 4 life jackets. We also ask that you refrain from using the pet swim ladder - it is the wooden ladder next to the north cable. It is built for dogs and will NOT support a human. 4 life jackets are provided for guest use in the outdoor chest on the master bedroom patio. Please ensure the vests are dry prior to storage in the chest after use.
Once you’ve had enough fun on the water, you can play one of the yard games from our collection including cornhole, grill up some dinner on the grill, or cook some s’mores at the fire pit or outdoor fireplace.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
HOUSE RULES 1. No unregistered guests are allowed. Additional guests will be charged at $100 per guest per night. 2. No smoking anywhere on the property. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750.00 ozone cleaning fee. 3. No parties. If you host a party with unregistered guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately. 4. No pets allowed. Sorry. Due to severe allergies to pet dander, we do not allow pets of any kind including service animals. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you bring a pet you will be charged $500.00 and an additional $250.00 ozone and cleaning fee. 5. Quiet time is between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. 6. No wet towels or clothing on the furniture. 7. External Doors must remain closed at all times to keep mosquitos and bugs out of the house. 8. Toilet paper is the ONLY thing to be flushed down the toilet. We have a septic system and anything else (besides toilet paper) flushed down the toilet will lead to a septic back up which will result in a $500 fine. 9. No food or waste to be put in the kitchen sink drain. There is NO garbage disposal. 10. Do not use the white towels to remove makeup. We provide makeup remover wipes for this as your makeup will stain the towels and then we will have to charge you $35.00 per towel. Thank you for understanding and respecting our rules.
